Built From Real Business Struggles
fresylquora started in 2018 when three former business owners realized something important. They'd all faced the same problem—watching good businesses fail because of cash flow mismanagement.
Not because the work wasn't there. Not because clients weren't paying. But because nobody taught them how to read the numbers properly.
We've spent six years building educational programs that actually prepare people for the financial reality of running a business in Australia.
What We Actually Believe About Money Education
Most financial courses teach theory. We teach what happens when your biggest client pays 60 days late and payroll is due next week. That's where real cash flow management lives.
Context Before Formulas
Understanding why cash flow projections matter comes before memorizing how to build them. We start with the business situations that break companies, then show you the tools to handle them.
Patterns Over Templates
Every business has different cash rhythms. Retail peaks in December, construction follows weather, consulting ebbs with corporate budgets. We teach you to spot your patterns instead of copying someone else's spreadsheet.
Mistakes Are Data
Our case studies include businesses that got it wrong. Learning what happens when you misread your burn rate or overestimate collection speed is more valuable than perfect examples that don't exist in reality.
How We Got Here
fresylquora wasn't planned as an education business. It started as three people comparing notes about why their previous ventures had struggled—and realizing the common thread was financial literacy gaps nobody addressed.
The First Workshop
Started with a free Saturday morning session at a Salamander Bay community center. Eight local business owners showed up. We expected to cover budgeting basics. Instead, we spent three hours on why invoice timing matters more than invoice amounts.
Shifting Focus
After running quarterly workshops for three years, we noticed something. The businesses that implemented what we taught saw measurable improvements in their runway management. So we stopped treating this as a side project and built proper curriculum.
Current Programs
Now we run structured courses that dive deep into cash flow cycles, seasonal adjustments, and buffer management. Our autumn 2025 intake starts in March, focusing on businesses preparing for their first full financial year with proper forecasting systems.
Who Runs This
fresylquora's programs are designed and taught by people who've actually managed business finances through tough periods.
Freja Lindström
Freja spent twelve years running a manufacturing business that nearly collapsed in 2016 because she didn't understand working capital requirements. That experience taught her more about cash flow than any textbook could.
She rebuilt the company by learning to read financial signals properly—understanding when slow periods meant cutting expenses versus when they meant investing in marketing. Now she teaches those same pattern recognition skills.
Her background includes six years in corporate finance before starting her own business, which gave her the theory. But the real education came from making payroll during a three-month client payment delay.
